We are a country and a world of politics. From the simplest form of decision making to the highest office in the land. I guess politics can be good. However I see it in many ways as division, competition, strife, and manipulation.
I have been watching the presidential campaign unfold, and I am very disappointed. Not so much in the system, but the candidates. They seem to be spending more time arguing, debating each other personally, and slamming each other than sharing what they will do for the American people.
Yes I realize that they speak on issues, however I see more beating around the bush and slogans than honesty, truth and leadership qualities. Yes I hear the words, the speeches, the communications. But I don't see love, compassion, integrity, honor or a desire to truly lead this country to a place of fruitfulness for all. Just the desire to win, and become elected.
It is my prayers that there is a revival in the heart of the next president. A revival of love, compassion, integrity, honor, and Godly wisdom, and character.
